Which Models Offer These Trim Grades
Now, first things first, you’re probably wondering which models offer these high-end trim grades. In the 2023 production year, the Acadia, Canyon, Sierra, Terrain, and Yukon are available in both AT4 and Denali configurations.
What They Have in Common
As for what they have in common, all models equipped with either of these trim grades will receive the following features: an eight-inch touchscreen interface that comes fully loaded with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, optional WiFi connectivity, voice-command capability; and, just in case, that wasn’t enough, a premium Bose sound system as well as 10-way, power-adjustable perforated leather seating with heating, ventilation, and lumbar support.

The Biggest Differences Between These Trim Levels
Now, let’s get into the thick of it. What sets these two trim grades apart? While there are some small and subtle distinctions here and there, the biggest differences between these trim levels can be found in each vehicle’s interior and exterior features. While the Denali is exceptionally luxurious inside and out, the AT4 is the superior choice in terms of off-road capability. In other words, while they are both excellent trim levels, they were definitely built to fit two distinctively different sets of needs.
The Exterior of the Denali
First, on the exterior of the Denali, one will notice an exclusive chrome grille design with matching exterior highlights, heated power-adjustable mirrors with LED turn signal indicators, distinctive C-shaped headlights, aluminum wheels, and, last but not least, a hands-free power liftgate. In addition to all of this, one can make the exterior of the Denali even more attractive with its exclusive Hunter Metallic exterior paint color.
A Bountiful, Comfortable, and Stylish Interior
Then, for its ritzy interior, the Denali is home to a color heads-up display, woodgrain trim, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, premium carpet floor mats, and, of course, signature Denali badging. Speaking of exclusive, most vehicles in the Denali lineup offer a gorgeous jet-black interior which is not available on any other GMC models. Or, in some cases, the Denali delivers a series of unique color schemes, which, once again, are only available to these select Denali models. In short, the Denali is designed to be as bountiful, comfortable, and stylish as possible.

A Dream Come True for Any Off-Road Enthusiast
The AT4, on the other hand, is a bit more sporty, rugged, and athletic, as it was built with the wilderness in mind. At the same time, however, it is just as refined as the Denali, but with a different lifestyle in mind. For those who love the great outdoors, the AT4 offers premium floor liners, exclusive color schemes, signature aluminum accents, and many more interior features. Meanwhile, on the exterior of every AT4 model, one will find several exclusive features, including standard all-terrain tires, an upgraded suspension, front skid plates, recovery hooks, and an improved angle of approach. With these, the AT4 is a dream come true for any off-road enthusiasts.
