Options

Engine
The GMC Sierra 2500 HD 4WD comes standard with a 401 hp 6.6L V8 464 lb-ft torque engine with 6 speed automatic or you can change things up to the 445 hp 6.6L V8 Duramax Turbo-Diesel with 910 lb-ft of torque and Allison10-speed automatic powertrain. Diesel fuel is denser so it produces more torque, therefore more acceleration. The end result is it can pull heavier loads when towing and pack more energy per gallon. Max GCWR when properly equipped, 27,500 lbs.
