Red Buick Enclave parked under underpass   The Buick Enclave is the brand’s 3-row crossover, making it the largest model in the Buick lineup and its flagship. As a Buick, it is the most premium model compared to the GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Traverse, with which it shares a platform and drivetrain. Like those models, the Enclave was redesigned for the 2025 model year and grew significantly in the process. Cars.com reviewed the Enclave and shared what they liked and disliked. Ewing Buick GMC shares what they found.

Cars.com didn’t discuss the exterior much, so we will tell you that the Enclave was redesigned with Buick’s new family design language, including the distinctive front end that looks like nothing else on the road—aside from other Buicks.

They did, however, elaborate on the interior, which they liked very much. Specifically cited was the 30-inch curved display, which incorporates both the center touchscreen and the digital driver’s display. Google Built-in is the operating system behind the center screen, offering wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, onboard Google Maps, an effective voice recognition system, and the ability to download compatible apps from the Google Play Store. Overall, Cars.com finds it “A pleasing and modern design features attractive two-tone upholstery combinations available on upper trims. Overall, the Enclave’s interior surpasses not only its Acadia and Traverse stablemates, but it can hold its own against some of the best contenders in the category.”

They also appreciated the Enclave’s ride, stating, “Whether you choose the base trim with a conventional suspension or the range-topping Avenir with its computer-controlled electronic shocks, the Enclave rides exceptionally well for a large SUV. Smooth, controlled, and nicely damped, it coddles occupants while delivering respectable handling for something this size.”

They were not without their complaints, however. While there are physical controls for much of the climate control system, they would prefer more. They also found the 328-horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine a bit loud for their taste, given the cabin’s ambiance.

Still, the Enclave presents itself as elegant and upscale, both inside and out, offering plenty of room for everyone, regardless of their seat row. Visit Ewing Buick GMC and see our vast selection of both the Buick Enclave and its GMC Acadia sibling, to give your own review.
