For the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X, GM has partnered up with one of the best companies in business, American Expedition Vehicles (AEV). The result is the GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition, a new addition to GMC’s pickup lineup and a solid choice for riding on rough terrain.  

Design 

GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X front fascia and grille have been notably redesigned enhancing the already rugged appearance of the Sierra with new inserts, gloss black and dark nickel, while Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV edition offers all-new stamped-steel front bumpers. 

These bumpers provide front approach and departure angles of 32.5’ and 23.4’, respectively. They also include heavy-duty cast recovery points and a winch in front while benefiting improved durability and corrosion resistance. 

Safety 

Boron skid plates used in this pickup are over 3.5 times stronger than cold-stamped steel. These plates protect the front approach, steering gear, transfer case, fuel tank, and rear differential from possible collisions, making  Sierra 1500 AT4X a safe and solid vehicle. 

Interior 

GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X has also been renovated on interior, where Refined Obsidian Rush shows off with its full-grain leather seats and black Authentic Vanta ash wood trim. Also, front passengers can enjoy an available massage feature. Additionally, a 12-Speaker Bose premium series plays music through Centerpoint surround sound, resulting in a more enjoyable ride experience. 

Performance 

Sierra 1500 AT4X and Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition will sport 420-hp 6.2-liter V-8, 10-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive layout. 

Thanks to its excellent features, such as Multimedia DSSV spool-valve dampers, Uniquely tuned springs, and e-locking differentials on front and rear, GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X can go all sorts of terrain.
