2025 GMC Acadia Denali Tested

There’s no nicer vehicle than the 2025 GMC Acadia Denali. It has all the luxury expected in a Denali in a right-sized three-row SUV. When MotorTrend reviewed the Acadia Denali, they praised its “lovely interior and the kind of leg- and cargo room it needed to be competitive.”
They focused on its “elegance, size, and increased power.” Regarding power, the 25-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine now offers 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque – both numbers are an increase in power from the previous generation’s V6.

In terms of size, MotorTrend noted that the 2025 Acadia is now “longer, wider, and taller, with more leg—and cargo room than many of its competitors.” They even called it “huge.” Cargo space is now up to 97.5 cubic feet with the second and third rows down. There is even 23.0 cubic feet behind the three-seat third row. That cargo space is opened up with power switches inside the rearmost cargo area.
MotorTrend found the Acadia Denali’s interior is “fresh and clean” with “premium materials, overall elegance, and a lot of standard equipment.” You can opt for a second-row bench seat for three or captain’s chairs for just two. Outboard second-row seats are heated and slide out of the way with ease for access into the third row.

MotorTrend commented that the new 15-inch Premium GMC Infotainment touchscreen is “easy to use.” They also appreciate the physical volume knob located at the center of the screen. The cabin also features a center console full of storage and a large wireless charging pad. The infotainment system is now driven by Google Built-in, enabling you to use Google’s apps without having to connect to your smartphone. You can, however, connect your smartphone to this system through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Another feature MotorTrend praised is the available Super Cruise, which was equipped in their tester. They stated that “[t]he hands-free driver assistance system has been well honed and worked flawlessly. The assisted driving package includes lane keep assist that warns you when you stray, intersection automatic emergency braking, enhanced automatic emergency braking, rear pedestrian alert, side bicycle alert, traffic sign recognition, cameras, trailering package, and more.”
Drivers will find Super Cruise very useful on practically every highway mile across Texas. Just keep your hands off the wheel, your feet off the pedal, and your eyes on the road until the system prompts you to take control of your 2025 Acadia Denali.
In conclusion, MotorTrend stated, “[t]he 2025 Acadia is a large vehicle that will transport the family in style with performance befitting the GMC badge.” As well as the Denali badge.
