2026 GMC HUMMER EV: Advancing the Supertruck
Reviving the name was one thing. Making it a benchmark for all EV pickup trucks and SUVs was another. This is why the GMC HUMMER EV has become a new icon. For 2026, you can expect more capability and performance with advanced engineering and technology.

The first new feature to appear on the 2026 HUMMER EV is called King Crab. This is a rear-steer enhancement that improves off-road maneuverability. When activated, the rear wheels will turn quicker than the front wheels. Tighter spaces away from the highway will be managed, and obstacles will be avoided with ease. No vehicle with off-road capability has this kind of feature, nor will it be able to duplicate the maneuvers of the 2026 HUMMER EV’s King Crab mode. You will find it on all 2026 HUMMER EV 2X and 3X trim levels for both the Pickup and SUV models. It will also be available as an over-the-air update later this year to current HUMMER EV owners.
Both the 2026 HUMMER EV 3X Pickup Truck and SUV will be available in the limited production Carbon Fiber Edition. A 24-module battery is enabled, along with enhanced software and propulsion calibration, to produce a quicker vehicle. General Motors clocked the HUMMER EV Carbon Fiber Edition’s 0-60 mph time at just 2.8 seconds.
Available in a Magnus Gray Matte exterior color and the Velocity Ember interior theme, the Carbon Fiber Edition comes with unique 22-inch carbon fiber black wheels on all-terrain tires. SUV models add a spare 22-inch carbon fiber wheel wrapped in the all-terrain tire. Cabon fiber inserts are found on mirror caps and skid plate. Finishing the limited-edition model package are emblems and a black approach shield.

The 2026 HUMMER EV will also feature bidirectional charging capability. You can charge from vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-home. Vehicle-to-vehicle enables the HUMMER EV to transfer power to another compatible EV. With the proper equipment, you can also use the HUMMER EV to provide power to your home in case of a blackout.
The Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology now uses Google Maps to help navigate on compatible roads. The 13.4-inch Premium GMC infotainment touchscreen also features Google Built-in, using Google Assistant to access features and apps in your HUMMER EV, including Prime Video.

Of course, no one can forget the powerhouse the HUMMER EV 3X Pickup will be in 2026. How about offering 1,160 horsepower and 13,000 pound-feet of torque? No other vehicle has the power to deliver.
