An Infotainment Screen Game-Changer?

In the 2024 GMC Acadia, you are now greeted by a portrait-oriented 15-inch touchscreen. It is not just large enough to use, it is highly functional and packed with more features inside. 

This touchscreen is driven by Google Built-in compatibility. It offers available apps, including navigation using Google Maps. You can either connect your Android Auto™ or Apple CarPlay® to this system wirelessly, or you have the option to log onto your Google account to use the apps and content directly. That way, you can access your favorites from Google Maps, Google Music, and other apps without needing to use your phone to do so. 

You can customize the displays on this touchscreen. Pick which features you use the most – whether it is your smartphone, your favorite Google app, or your top radio stations – as the first icons you see when you start up your 2024 Acadia. You can also add other apps you would like to use in the near future. There are plenty to choose from. 

The touchscreen has a high-contrast display available, making it easy to view day and night. Screens often attract glare when the sun hits the wrong spot. While you can adjust the screen to your liking, it will always be visible no matter how bright or dim it is outside. 

The new touchscreen also houses a new camera set-up that gives you up to nine views for enhanced visibility around your 2024 Acadia. These views include rear camera view, front camera view, front top-down, rear top-down, rear camera view mirror, front side view, HD surround vision, hitch view, and rear side view. All are integrated onto the screen for you to have a clear view. 

Most importantly, this new touchscreen will change how you interact with your vehicle, even without touching the screen. Voice commands help you get the information and ambiance you want while tackling rush hour. Some information you request will show up in the 11-inch Digital Driver Information Center and/or the eight-inch Digital Head-Up Display if equipped. 

You do not have to get this feature in just our Denali trim. The new 15-inch touchscreen is available on all 2024 GMC Acadia trim levels.
