​​Buick Rated Highest American Brand in J.D. Power Dependability Survey​

If your answer is Buick, then you are absolutely correct! According to the J.D. Power 2025 Vehicle Dependability Study, Buick is the highest-scoring American-based brand.  

The J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study is conducted to survey owners of three-year-old vehicles. In its 36th year, J.D. Power looks at 184 potential problem areas across nine categories: climate systems, controls and displays, driving assistance, exterior, features, infotainment, interior, powertrain, seats, and the overall driving experience.   

According to the survey, Buick received a brand-wide score of 143 problems per 100 vehicles, which is better than most “mainstream” and luxury/premium brands. Some models were singled out for having great dependability scores, including the Lucerne, LaCrosse, Regal, Envision, Encore, and Encore GX. These models scored no lower than 90 out of 100 on the reliability index. This result speaks volumes about why you should consider Buick as your next vehicle.
