Indulge Yourself with the 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate

If you are not familiar with the 2025 Yukon, the first things you will notice about the Yukon Denali Ultimate are the changes made to all Yukon models, including a more elegant headlight design featuring C-shaped LED daytime running lights that surround LED projection headlights. The hexagon grille is big and bold. In the case of the Denali Ultimate, it is enhanced by the subtle touch of the darker “Vader Chrome” around its perimeter, which also graces the exterior in other areas. The Denali wheels are similarly impressive, available in either 22 or 24 inches, with the latter being standard. It presents an elegant appearance, especially when you closely inspect the front GMC badge and observe the subtle topographical lines of Mt. Topspeed.com was particularly impressed with the Woodland Mahogany interior color, which the editor described as a “gorgeous shade of brown.” You’ll also notice the brushed aluminum mesh trim plates on the sides of each front headrest, part of the 22-speaker Bose® Performance Series audio system, which sounds even better than it looks. The leather seats also serve functions beyond aesthetics, offering heating, ventilation, and massaging capabilities, including new kneading patterns added for this year. 

Up front and center is the 16.8-inch portrait-format infotainment screen backed by the quick, logical, and driver-friendly Google Built-in operating system, which includes wireless smartphone integration and built-in Google Maps. In addition to audio and navigation information, the large screen is full of intuitive controls for the front seats, HVAC, and many other systems. The driver has his or her own digital display that can show not only the primary information but also the navigation map or images from GMC’s night vision, which helps make objects in front of you at night stand out more. 

Second-row passengers, who sit in either a three-abreast bench or heated power captain’s chairs, can enjoy dual touchscreens located behind each front headrest. These screens can download internet content or connect to video game systems. Another touchscreen behind the center console controls the rear climate settings.  

It is all very plush, with the second- and third-row seatbacks dropping at the push of buttons. A power tailgate reduces struggles. An adjustable suspension lowers for loading and easy egress, raises for rough non-paved surfaces, or lowers again for smooth and efficient highway driving. Of the latter, of course, the Denali Ultimate is equipped with GM’s SuperCruise, the most comprehensive and sophisticated hands-off driving system in the industry. 

Choosing the 6.2-liter gas-powered V8 will offer you 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Opting for the efficient Duramax 3.0-liter I6 turbodiesel (305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque) helps achieve maximum efficiency, delivering about 5-6 more mpg with 20 (city)/26 (highway)/22 (combined).
