​​Is This the Ultimate 2026 GMC Acadia Denali?​ 

The GMC Acadia Denali is already one of the most luxurious SUVs in its size and price class. If it is loaded with all the features, has the best upholstery, and offers great performance, one has to wonder if it could get more luxurious than that? The answer is “yes.” For 2026, GMC added a new trim level above the luxurious Acadia Denali – the Denali Ultimate. What makes a Denali more than just a Denali to make it an Ultimate?  

It starts with a 2026 Acadia, our mid-size three-row SUV that seats up to eight people, powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 328 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to an available all-wheel drive.  

Every 2026 Acadia comes equipped with a large 15-inch diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment System and an 11-inch diagonal digital Driver Information Center. With the infotainment system, you get Google Built-in with native apps powered by the Google Assistant for natural voice recognition. You can also add apps from the Google Store.  

When you step up to the Denali trim, the feature list expands. Luxury is elevated to include a premium interior with leather-appointed first- and second-row seats, heated and ventilated seats, second-row one-touch folding seats, and power-folding third-row seats. The driver gets a configurable eight-inch Head-Up Display. The finishing touch is a set of 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with a Peal Nickel finish. 

At the pinnacle of the lineup, more standard equipment has been added, pushing the level of luxury to new heights. To add to its exclusive interior design, the Denali Ultimate wears Woodland Mahogany with plaited contrast stitching. The front seats also get heating, ventilation, and a massage function. The grille receives a Vader Chrome gnash with matching GMC emblems.  

Passengers will enjoy a standard panoramic sunroof while listening to music and streaming content through 16 Bose Performance Series speakers. The driver will have a chance to relax thanks to the standard Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance technology. It also comes with a three-year OnStar One plan. 

How does this elevated 2026 Acadia Denali Ultimate fare? A Milwaukee NPR radio station took a look at this luxury SUV and felt that it excelled in being “attractive” with a “great ride, good acceleration” while equipped with “AWD, and three terrain settings.” They also applauded its extensive list of standard equipment and “roomy” interior.
