The GMC Terrain is a crossover SUV with a spacious interior and a rugged appearance. It’s a fuel-efficient vehicle with a lot of standard convenience and tech features. Here at Ewing Buick GMC of Plano, TX, we are glad to see that GMC has equipped the GMC Terrain with plenty of safety features too.

Every model of the GMC Terrain has an Advanced Airbag System. There are front and side-mounted airbags for the driver and front passenger. There’s also a head-curtain airbag to protect the front- and rear-outboard passengers. Traction Control and Stability Control are standard for all trim levels.

GMC has equipped every Terrain with a tire-pressure monitor and an HD rear camera. There are also plenty of driver-assist features that make for a safer ride. There’s a Front-Collision Alert to help prevent front crashes. There’s also a Lane-Change Alert feature with Side Blind-Zone Alert and Lane-Keeping Assist with a Lane-Departure Warning.
