​​The 2026 GMC HUMMER EV Pickup Truck Sprints Against Some Supercars​ 

Can an electric vehicle keep pace with some of the fastest machines on the planet? We have read about the horsepower offered by the current crop of electric vehicles. It is now typical that an electric driveline can be rated for well over 400 horsepower. Some have ratings that compare directly with a genre of vehicles known as “supercars.” Even “hypercars.”

Frustrated, the producers asked the driver of the 2026 HUMMER EV pickup truck to start a car length behind the other five vehicles on the apron. The electric pickup truck simply pulled away.  

The test drivers were stunned by how quickly the 2026 HUMMER EV 3X pickup truck blasted ahead of the five supercars. They could not believe they had been beaten by an electric pickup truck.
