The 2026 GMC Terrain Denali Adds Luxury to a Great Package

The new 2026 GMC Terrain offers a great mix of efficiency, space, and agility. It always punches above its own weight. One of the two new additions to the 2026 Terrain lineup wears the Denali name. When you see that name on any GMC, it means you will be treated – and pampered – in its signature style and higher level of comfort.
You get plenty of upgrades in the 2026 Terrain Denali. These features include heated and ventilated front and heated rear outboard seats, animated headlamps and taillamps, High Definition Surround Vision and Rear Camera Mirror, and a set of 19-inch Midnight Silver machined-face aluminum wheels and all-season tires. You can also add a panoramic sunroof and a set of 20-inch After Midnight machined-face aluminum wheels.

These features add more value to the 2026 Terrain Denali, which already offers an impressive list of features across all trim levels. The 15-inch-diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment System is powered by Google Built-in. Through Google Assistant, you can access your vehicle’s functions, as well as apps for navigation and music playback. You also get three years of OnStar One, providing you with the peace of mind that comes with every GMC.
The 2026 Terrain is still an efficient vehicle to run. Stemming from its 175-horsepower 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It also puts down 184 pound-feet of torque while returning an EPA-rated combined 25 MPG. It can also go the distance, with an EPA-rated range of 406 miles on the highway. All 2026 Terrain Denali’s come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
Recently, Autoguide had a chance to review the 2026 Terrain Denali. They pointed out its features that aid in creating a great driving experience, the Smart Frequency Damper Technology. They explained that this feature uses “ground frequencies from each wheel to adapt suspension pressure on the fly. It works quite well as the GMC SUV blends ride comfort with response. The Terrain Denali has a solid feel that never gets out of sorts during moderate driving, smoothening out most bumps and remaining semi-flat in corners.”

In summary, Autoguide said that “with the new 2026 Denali trim, though, it’s a standout in many ways. The technology, comfort, and drivability all make the SUV feel premium and a half class above many of its competitors.” It is also quite attainable.
