Regardless of which engine you pick, the Sierra 1500 Elevation is able to tow anywhere from 9,200 lbs with the TurboMax, all the way up to 13,200 with the Duramax Turbo Diesel. 

Style, Comfort, and Capability

The Elevation trim for the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 comes exclusively in the Double Cab configuration with a 6’6” bed. The Double Cab is a 4-door, just not as large as the Crew Cab for rear passengers. However, rear passengers will have 35.2 inches of legroom, which is about the same or more than most midsize sedans on the market today. You can option either 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive, and it features monochromatic door handles, bumpers, and grille surround, with extra black accents, including the front grille insert, tow hooks, side window trim, and standard 20-inch aluminum wheels. It is the only Sierra that comes blacked out from the factory. 

The Sierra 1500 Elevation also comes standard with a heated steering wheel, a 13.4-inch premium infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, automatic locking rear differential, a trailer hitch, and Hitch Guidance. 

GMC Pro Safety is standard on all Elevation trim Sierras and includes Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Front Pedestrian Braking, IntelliBeam auto high beam control, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking.
