What Are The Highlights And Advantages Of The Elevation Package

The GMC Sierra Elevation Package is Sierra buyers’ most popular trim level. It has great looks, and superb luxury, but still maintains its status as a tough truck ready to tackle whatever customers can throw at it.
Modest Price
The base MSRP of the Sierra Elevation is $55,200, and with that comes a host of options, including your choice of a 2.7-liter Turbo 4-cylinder, 5.3-liter V8, or a 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel. The Elevation trim gives buyers options that they want and need without being too high of a price. Sierra Elevation models come in full four-door Crew Cab form with the 6.6-foot standard bed.
Powerful Engines
The standard engine in the Sierra Elevation is a 2.7-liter Turbocharged High-Output inline-4 that puts out 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It features a max payload of 2,240 lbs, and max towing of 9,500 lbs. The optional 5.3-liter V8 produces 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque and is put through a 10-speed automatic. The V8 has the same max payload as the 2.7-liter, but towing capacity increases to 11,200 lbs. Customers can also go for the available Duramax 3.0-liter inline-6 Turbo-Diesel, making 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Payload drops slightly to 1,890 lbs, but towing goes up to 13,200 lbs.
Technology You Can Use
All Sierra Elevation models have standard tech features, including a 13.4-inch GMC Premium infotainment system with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and dual-zone climate control. Wheels are 20-inch 6-spoke high gloss black aluminum, and front bucket seats are optional, as is a heated steering wheel, power sunroof, and the GMC MultiPro tailgate step lights.
Pro Level Safety
GMC Pro Safety is standard on the GMC Sierra Elevation, and it includes Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Front Pedestrian Braking, IntelliBeam auto high-beam control, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking. The optional Sierra Safety Plus package adds Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Rear Pedestrian Alert Trailer Camera Provisions, Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert, HD Surround Vision, Perimeter Lighting, Rear Park Assist, and high gloss black mirror caps.
