Vehicle Locate 

The Vehicle Locate feature allows you to view the exact location of your truck or SUV and receive walking directions to it, as well as send information about places you’d like directions to directly to the vehicle’s navigation system.  

Vehicle Health 

Vehicle Health seems self-explanatory, but you can do more than just check how well your vehicle is performing. You can also see the vehicle’s fuel range, tire pressures, oil life to determine when you need an oil change, how many miles are on the vehicle in real time, and look at the SUV or truck’s diagnostic information to understand if you need to have something serviced.

If this happens, an OnStar Emergency Certified Advisor will call the car to ensure you are okay. If you are not, they can dispatch emergency services right away.  

• Stolen Vehicle Assistance – Hopefully, this doesn’t happen to you, but if your truck or SUV is ever stolen, OnStar can locate the vehicle, report its location to the police, and even disable it so the police can recover it and return it to you.  

Added Extras 

Certain OnStar plans also include OnStar Connect Plus, which opens up the use of the built-in WiFi hotspot in various GMC models. The OnStar Guardian app allows you to use your phone for your OnStar services, such as Crash Response, Stolen Vehicle Assistance, etc.
